The year 2024 brings the 42nd edition of the iconic race on Vavrinec Stream, which will take place on October 12 and 13. This traditional boating race is one of the biggest events of its kind in the Czech Republic and attracts participants and spectators from all over the country and abroad.
The race offers exciting moments for competitors and spectators. The route leads through scenic countryside, but is also technically challenging — competitors must master fast currents, shallow sections and other whitewater challenges. Mill Davidkov is open to the public again from 16:00 on Friday to 16:00 on Sunday. It is an ideal opportunity for visitors to come and warm up during the weekend and enjoy traditional pig feasts and other specialties from the mill's kitchen.
